ALPS Member News: SIGNODE-WINTEK INSTALLS LABELMASTER 440 12-COLOR FLEXO PRESS

Bengaluru-headquartered Signode-Wintek Labels has become the first label printer in India to install the Gallus Labelmaster 440 flexo press. With 12 printing units, the newly installed press has a die-cutting unit with cold foil and rotary screen capabilities. The press is installed at the company’s Bengaluru plant. Signode has another plant in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. In addition to the Labelmaster, Signode has also installed brand new slitter rewinder inspection machines at its Bengaluru plant. Mr. Gururaj Ballarwad of Signode-Wintek & President, ALPS Gallus Labelmaster comes in several modular variants and offers less complexity and can hit speeds up to 200 metres per minute. With newer technologies and a more advanced and wider printing platform along with a combination of various printing processes, the Labelmaster will enable Wintek to become even more competitive in the market since bigger labels and longer runs can be run more productively and cost-effectively on

ALPS Members Won Awards at Asian Print Awards & Asian Packaging Excellence Awards 2018 Bangkok, Thailand during Asian Packaging Conference, SHIFT_018

The 2018 Asian Packaging Excellence Awards and the Asian Print Awards were held on May 03 at Bangkok, Thailand. The Asian Packaging Conference 2018 was twinkling with the stars of the packaging and print industry as on the evening of May 03, the stalwarts of the industry were awarded and recognized for their achievements. ALPS member Flint Group was one among the other companies which sponsored the conference this year. A panel of esteemed judges comprising of Veterans, Willem (Wim) Swiggers, Phee Boon Eow, Viroon Songsermsawad, Ben Kwok and major Wong Wing Kwong took over o4 days to evaluate the entries being received from Thailand, China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, HK and Japan.
